i need some juniper berries to add to a dish im cooking for a dinner party can anyone help by telling me where i can obtain them from.....thanx in anticerpation

Check at your neighborhood health food store or holistic store where they carry medicinal herbs. Whole Foods is hit-or-miss with bulk herbs.

Dried ones can be found in the grocery store or at Cost Plus World Market with all of the other dried herbs and spices. I think I found mine at Cost Plus World Market because the regular grocery store was out.

Can you sub CAPERS?? Cause thats what a caper is, I think. In the grocery store (any decent one) by the pickles & olives. Theyre in a TINY jar & theres usually only one brand. Theyre pretty expensive- mash them or dice them- stretches them out.
