have to put their 2cents worth in where it is probably not wanted. I understand that everyone has a right to their opinion but really why hang out in the tattoo answer area, when you so blatently dont like them. I am sick of people asking questions and they get answers about how wrong they are, or ugly etc etc. These kind of comments are not needed or wanted. If you hate tattoo's so much go hang out where your answers would be appreciated.

I personally have 2 tattoos and plan to get more too. My thing is those that put down peoples questions because they do not like tattoo's at all. Constructive critism is ok, but bagging out what someone else believes in is wrong and should not be put up with. If you dont like what someone is asking, then why bother responding and upsetting them.

While that statement is general and jumps to a lot of conclusions about those without tattoos, I understand what you are saying and whom you are speaking about. My only issue with those who bash and poke fun of people with tattoos is they never state WHY they think those things are ugly and they never say WHY they are so mean and why they are so quick to judge people.
99% of the time, people say stuff like that to me and I ignore it. Why? Simply because I got my tattoos and piercings for me and it is not my job to make everyone happy. It is not my job to act like a circus performer so they can have a smile on their face. I am who I am, no questions asked and I will never apologize to them for who I am. They can hate me all they want and I won't care. I guess not everyone gets that.
Even with the right to say what they want, there is a difference between honesty and opinion and hurtfulness and offensive. I think you and others should just stop worrying about it.

.It because they are old school or Christian radicals lol
Simply put in the 1920 to 1950s tattoos were the markings of thugs and criminals and main stream folks just didn't want them . So today their predecessors have passed on the legacy that anyone with a tattoo is a less than desirable element .
Instead as we know they are just an expression as to who we are and what we are involved in . Small minds with poor attitudes.

Excuse me ! ,but I don't have any tattoos and won't ever get one cause I hate needles the much ! But I DO like tattoos . Some are very cool looking or beautiful !
So please don't judge ALL people the same. Just because there are some people who do that doesn't mean everyone will !! And no I don't like it when people do that either.
Allot of people have meaning behind there tattoos too. My husband does and I admire that.

On here people do it mainly for the points. They have nothing better to do with their time. Their life is probably boring and dull simply cos they are always putting their two cents in where it is not wanted. They like to try to control what people in today's society do. If its not one thing they are complaining about its another. They don't want people telling them what to do with their body and their personal life yet they feel they have the right to tell others what to do and how to live their life.
Keep your head held high and don't let those people who hate affect you.

The tattoo haters out there have to make themselves feel superior, and I guess the only way to do that is from the safety of this internet forum. I can't ever remember anyone with strong negative opinions about tattoos having the guts to tell me to my face what they think of them. Fukin pu$$ies!

Amen!!!!! although it is not all non tattooed people and it is not just in the tattoo site.
Some people just feel so bad about there selves that the only way to make themselves feel better is to make others feel bad. Just ignore those morons and go live your life.

Questions don't just appear in the section they're written in. While they're new, they are posted on the screen that appears when you click "home." This is to expose your question to as many people as possible in hopes that you may get more answers.
Granted, some of them may be small minded and abusive, but you can click thumbs down and not have to see them anymore. Or better, report them.
PS- I have two and want more

mostly because they want to be noticed. it's just like in any area, there will always be the people who are negative and critical of whatever the subject. and maybe they really think they will convince someone to not get a tattoo? i don't know.

Personally, I can assume that the more tattoos a person has, the more open minded, accepting, and likeable that person is. This world is filled with "haters" and thank God for them. Because without them, who would we piss off?

You said it..."everyone has a right to their opinion". That's what they do here. give their opinion.
I have 2 tats and my husband hates tattoos but we understand and ALLOW each other to be different.
Please be a little more tolerant and don't take comments personally. It makes you better than the tattoo haters who write mean and cruel nonsense.
