Yeah it should be okay. I don't eat alot of chocolate so I once had a chocolate easter bunny for 3 yrs...it was still good...

Yes, you can eat it. Chocolate has an incredibly long shelf life. If you open the package and see a white film on the chocolate, don't worry. It's the fat in the cocoa that has risen to the surface meaning it wasn't stored at the perfect temperature.

As long as there aren't any worms in it, it's OK. The white powder on it is not bad. I watched a show about chocolate and it lasts for a long time and the white powder isn't harmful.

I don't think I'd eat a chocolate bar a year old.
I have seen worms grow in chocolate bars.
I don't know how but they do.
No I would not even give it to my worse ememy.
Could really cause sickness, Throw it away
I believe you can afford another candy bar, If not ,
I'll send one to you.

If the chocolate is still dark then it is probably still OK. If it has lost its color or gotten powdery I'd just trash it.
