Second time I've seen this video today...the girl is not actually hitting them--and even if she tried, they probably wouldn't feel much pain, because she isn't executing her techniques properly.
The strikes she does would hurt someone if done properly, but this demonstration isn't realistic; the attackers often stand there and let her hit them. They don't resist in a realistic way. What is pictured in this video is not proper or effective self-defense.
And as for her stepping on the guy's stomach: (1) she probably doesn't weight that much, (2) she only stepped on him briefly, and (3) he probably tensed his stomach muscles, which would subtract some of the pain. (Poke yourself in the stomach with your abs relaxed; then tense them and poke yourself again. Your finger goes less deeper when your stomach muscles are tensed, which cuts down on the pain response from your internal organs.)
P.S. What you're seeing isn't karate; it's probably sport taekwondo. If you actually want to learn karate, try a traditional version, such as Shotokan or Goju-Ryu karate.

You funny fella hood.we need a bit of humour.it.s called a demonstration if people did actually use the moves there wouldn't be many demos now would there and it would be pretty hard to get any one to participate if they were getting hurt.imagine the insurance?as for stepping on stomachs.you'd be suprised what even the average man with average abs can support when there laying on their back.a blow to the stomach is completly different.that reminds me of a story from my youth(before all this suing and litagation.etc crap-when people had to take responcibility for their own stupidity)this bloke was doing a demo-ima millioneth dan in tkd,im the strongest man on earth,i can.etc.etc.he broke a few boards got someone3 to hit him in the stomach with various weapons etc got people from the crowd to do various things to him.he had 3 people standing on his stomach, then he picked me out of the crowd and said hit me in the stomach with this sledge hammer. My reply was"i dont think thats a good idea i dont want to"he then made derogatory remarks about me etc and said well hit me with anything you like more nasty comments. So i said ok i'll punch you then"laughter from him and the crowd more nasty comments.so i punched him i the stomach half heartadly, only travelled 3-4 inches result busted spleen.no one was happy including me.but i was all of a sudden a thug a bully and they were just the nice names.and even without what he was doing saying etc he was 5-6 inches taller than me and outweighed me by probably40-50 pound.(no i'm not bragging)true story.theres your answer and there is a moral to the story but it depends where your looking at it from.

She possesses the magic chi ability. She can inflict amazing amounts of damage on her foe by simply jumping up and down and doing cartwheels. If you watch the video, she shows EXTREME control with her moves!!! anyone of those actually connecting? would mean instant death for her adversary! This is an ancient art called "fakeassfu". Passed down by century's of D&D nerds and renaissance festival geeks.

1) the blows are obviously faked.
2) I have had people up to 170# stand on my stomach while I demonstrate abdominal breathing. (Kids love to watch that).

First of all, that is supposed to be taekwondo, not karate. They don't seem hurt because they are pretend fighting since it is a demonstration.. that's how it looks to me, anyways.

its an exhibition and shes not reallly doing anything...you can tell from her movements that it is staged....one thing you should know about karate is that it is a form of self-discipline...if she were really executing these moves i assume that it wouldnt necessarily feel good but they would also be in a mode that would allow them to mentally block this pain and use that energy in defense

no that would not hurt especially since she never hit them and that most of those moves wouldnt hurt if she hit them anyways.
