There are complete breakdowns on UFC's web page on both fights...that's if you care what the experts think. But as fans we love our fighters, not the commentators. I will go with St. Pierre and Sylvia. I like GSP and the Snowman better as fighters and people, and believe them to be good matches for the current champs. However, one challenger will have a much better chance to win and that is GSP. GSP and Hughes stack up nicely, where Monson and Sylvia are opposites (stylistically and size wise). Monson won't be able to get inside on Sylvia, and will be knocked out while trying and Hughes won't be able to take down GSP. Sylvia by knockout in the first. GSP by knockout in the third.

As much as I like GSP, I can't see Hughes getting beat. He's just too strong and I don't believe he has become lazy despite being dominate for so long.

I think being a foot shorter will be too much of a disadvantage for Monson to deal with. Sylvia is the Shaq of the UFC. His freakish size makes up for average, at best, ability. Monson just can't overcome the size difference even tho I think he is a much more skilled fighter.

GSP with out a doubt. I would put my house on it.
Since their last fight he has gotten so much better and grown as a fighter. I really think he is going to dominate hughs.

Tough choice between Monsan and Tim. Don't get me wrong, I hate sylvia and he is a poor excuse for a champ but he's just so big and tall with such a huge reach it might be difficult for Monsan because Tim keep a good distance for avoiding takedowns pop off hard jabs at Monsan. On the other hand Monsan is an Abu Dhabi champ and if he gets Tim down I don't think Tim will stand back up with the belt on. I'm going with Monsan on this one; he just has to get Tim down!

Sounds like you know your UFC. Matt Hughes is an awesome fighter, and big Tim Sylvia has come a long way.

GSP & Hughes will be tough, but I'm hoping St. Pierre can pull it off. Either way, I'm sure it'll be a great fight. I also think Sylvia will pull off another win.

I'm with you. Matt Hughes and Tim Sylvia will be victorious. It would have been nice if the contract deals would have went through and we would have seen Liddell and (Wanderlei) Silva as originally planned, but at least we'll see Liddell fight Ortiz next month.

GSP and Monsan....

Neither Sylvia NOR Hugues deserve their titles anymore.
