Most eye twiches are harmless, involuntary spasms.

You may have a vitamin deficiency, squint too much, consume too much caffeine, stare at a computer too long, etc.

Try a multi vitamin and when you work on a computer, focus on something across the room for 2 minutes every hour to prevent eye strain. (Just like a muscle spasm at any other part of the body, an eye twitch can mean you've taxed your muscles and need to relax them. )

If all else fails, your doctor may have something for it, but I'd bet it goes away on its own.

I'm not really sure what you mean by it "shivers", but i too have experienced something weird in my eyes lately...i see fine also, but when it happens i wonder about it...unfortunately, i myself have not gone to my eye doctor yet, i know I'm stupid for that...
i do have a question...do you smoke cigarettes?
the reason i ask this, is because a friend mentioned something to me a few months ago about smoking...
i wish i could offer you more information, but to be totally truthful with you, your question might be helping me too....

Are you talking about an eyelid twitch? These are very common and is caused by a nerve in the eyelid. They eventually go away by themselves, but if it is really bothersome, your eye doctor can probably prescribe something that will calm the twitches down. If it's the eye itself, I don't know what you mean by "shivers", but there again, I'd sure have it checked.

all that I am going to say is..
one thing you do not mess with and that is your eyes
make an appointment with the BEST eye doctor in your area, and go as soon as you can...
my dad had a problem similar to your, and now he only see out of one eye, he did not go until he could not see one day, one minute he could the next his eye was shivering, vibrating, then his vision was gone..not to ever come back
please go see the BEST eye doctor..if it is nothing..fantastic, but if it is, great you caught it in time...

good luck

It's just temporary and as soon as you stop thinking about it so much, it'll just go. I get them at times and people think I'm winking at them...so be careful who you look at ! Honestly, it will be gone within a few days. Happens to lots of people

nah.
see a doctor?

they're all quacks, I tell you!

here's what you SHOULD do:

1) drink lots and lots of vodka
2) jump around like a bunny rabbit for 30 seconds.

3) pass out.

It works! Trust me.

I don't know if it's serious or not but yes I think you need to go and see your doctor just to be on the safe side. Good Luck.

Sounds like you had a spasm. You could go see your doctor and find out and it does not hurt.

It could be something as simple as a nerve "jumping." It happens when you're stressed, agitated, or tired. But if you're concerned, talking to your doctor never hurts.
