Baking a turkey is the traditional way, and the best in my opinion. Of course, don't forget the stuffing! :)

I have never had smoked turkey. I say fry or bake it. I love both. Dont forget the stuffing or corn bread dressing which ever you prefer.

Deep frying can be dangerous and it does add a lot more fat and cholesterol to an already fattening meal. Baking is classic. Smoking would be an interesting twist on a classic. I say smoke it.

We tried to smoke ours last year and kept in it for too long - it was really dry and looked the the Griswolds Christmas Vacation turkey.
So the moral is... keep a close eye on your turkey if you choose to smoke it :)

I prefer my turkey fried, but it is the most fatting way to eat it. You should smoke it if you are wanting to cook it the healthiest way. If you want to keep with tradition then bake it.

they all sound good. i like smoked meat. fried turkey is great. if you bake, you should put slivers of garlic and pats of butter underneath the skin. just work it in there. it flavors and tenderizes. if you're not stuffing the bird with actual stuffing...put onion and garlic in the cavity too. mmmmm
