Well depending on which way the see saw balances if he is older than you you will have problems because he has been through 20 years more experience than you and he will throw it up in your face like every day. If it is the other way around don't do that to him. I was married to someone that was 14 years older than me and he made me feel bad because he was older than me. And hopefully both of you all are legal

My boyfriend and I are 14 years apart, and things are great between us. The fact is, you can be with people your own age, and sometimes it doesn't work out. Regardless of your age, if you both are happy, loving and respectful of eachother, then who cares? Don't let "society's" opinion of your age difference affect you. I hope this helps!

That's too many years. When you are 50 he will be 70. You will be able to do things and he won't.

There's only 6 years between my husband and I, but I notice a big differenced the older we get. I'm 42 and he's 48.

I married a man 18 years older than me and he never saw me as his equal, even in marriage. He always thought of me and saw me as a little girl who should be treated as just that (go figure why he married me). If your boyfriend can do better and not see the difference in age as a problem, then I say go for it. They may make better companions than some our own age.

BTW ours was doomed from the get go, and after 4 tumultuous years, we went our separate ways.

Girl I'm 17 and my man is 23. You think I care what people say. All you going to hear is that older men cheat on younger girls or women. Don't listen to them. You know if you got a good man or not because I know I do.

It doesn't matter until he is 60 and you are forty and he will be old and you will still be young.I am seven years older than my wife I am 50 and she 43 and trust me even that is a big difference.

Pretty big age difference so not really a lot in common including friends, music etc. But it does work sometimes so I cannot judge your relationship.

it depends mostly on your age
if you are 5 and he is 25 this is very bad
if you are 60 and he is 80 it does not matter
in between, it depends on your maturity and personality match
