Each of us reacts to visual stimuli...color, curves, forms, shapes...in our own ways. This could be based on our earliest post natal experiences. but no matter, we react and our reactions translate to preferences, dislikes and neutralities. A certain bend to a line can excite us as can certain colors and shapes. When we look at another human, we assess the face and body the same way...eye color, breast shape, muscles, hips, neck, turn of the mouth...all these things relate to the earliest reactions we've had and what we associate with them. We also respond to wavelengths of sound and light. They resonant with our own frequencies and we either feel good or bad when then happens. (And if you think we, as complex atomic structures do not vibrate, think again...we are the same stuff as the rest of the Universe and we do have electon motion). Color is just one example of how a particular wavelength can create a harmony and feel-good experience.
