me and my friend are going to get a tattoo...she wants to get one on her side but she has stretchmarks. i was wondering if you can get tattoed over your stretchmarks and if u can...then can you tell that there are stretch marks under that tattoo

Have her stretchmarks gotten to the stage where they have faded to a silver colour ? I think a tattoo would cover them then. I'm not too sure about stretchmarks, but I know someone who got a tattoo over some really big surgery scars and you couldn't see a thing.

I've got a tattoo on my stomach to cover up stretchmarks from a pregnancy, most people can't even tell I have stretchmarks, not unless you look really closely.

Yes you can get tattooed over any stretch marks, but of course the mark will never go away. There will be color over top of it to hide it but it will always be seen if looked at close enough.

If she has really deep stretch marks, then she might want to have dermabrasion done first to smooth out the skin and make the ridges less deep. But then, she will have to wait a year for her skin to heal. Dermabrasion is where they scrub the skin until it is bloody and take a layer off. I had this done and as well as chemical peels to get rid of my stretch marks completely. They look worse and redder for a while and like I said, it takes 6 months to a year to look really good or have any work like tattoos done.

First and foremost your body is a temple, so why mark it up? Any who it's yall free will! I know someone who has a tattoo but also has stretch marks and yes it will show up if the stretch marks are like big. If they were small, thin, and skinny than they wouldn't be as visible under the tattoo as the larger ones. Anyway no matter the size you can see them. Oh and to get rid of those stretch marks she can use cocoa butter or cocoa butter lotion!

You can get tatooed over scars and stretchmarks. Lots of women have their breast cancer scars tatooed into beautiful artwork.

I'm not sure but what I do know is that coco butter works on taking away stretch marks or making them not as visible.

u can, but u cant tell if there was strecth marks if its cover up real good.
