You won't walk in circles, but you might have a slight limp. I know someone with one leg shorter than the other. The way he solves his problem is to have the heel on the short leg shoe built up an inch or so to compensate. No one can tell that he has this condition, and he doesn't even limp when he walks.

You compensate for it. You see an object and start to walk towards it. You start to move off course and your brain figures this out (gotta love that brain) and subtly adjust your stride to put you back on course.

because your brain can determine straight lines....if you are in a desert with no point to focus on, you could eventually walk in a complete circle.....
