Get tickets to a dinner theater, or dinner and a movie, or something else she might like to do. Then take her yourself. Time with you would be the best gift you could ever give her.

don't get her something that she'll only use once and then keep at the back of her closet (ie footspa), try an experience like theatre tickets, or a meal out or something. Women of a certain age often have all the 'stuff' they need, so something that will provide her with a happy memory would be cool.

What ever you get her will mean a lot to her as you are obviously trying hard to get her something nice. How about a piece of jewellery, then it will be really sentimental.
You could get a bracelet, or earings, depends how much you want to spend - you could even get a little mirror, they do silver ones which fit in a handbag and you could get it engraved, that would probably mean a lot to her - and it's not too expensive to do either.
I am sure she will love whatever you get. Good luck!

I always give my Mom money because she buys all her kids, son in laws, daughter in laws, grandkids and great grandkids presents. Or a gift card to her fave Store. Anyways that way she can buy what she wants instead of selling it in her garage sale the next year.

You can never go wrong with a purse. But, if she's not into that you can always buy her a book to read...while she gets a massage from a all expense paid spa treatment.

get her a gorgeous pair of purple leather gloves, with small buttons on the front from Jigsaw (£36). They are stylish yet understated. That's what my mum's getting!

Ask her what she likes so you can get an idea on what to give her for Christmas!
