Sort of. Depends on how you prepare and present them. Duck is a delicasy. So I would put a fancy spin on each if serving with duck. Examples: Cornbread: Add caramelized shallots and roasted whole kernel corn; mashed root vegetables: turnips, parsnips, carrots, celery root and potatoes with roasted garlic or fennel sprigs. I would do a stewed fruit compote instead of the beans.

I agree with the majority of these answers. Especially about too starchy, no brown beans, and that duck is so rich that rolls would probably go better than cornbread. But who doesn't like a good side of mashed potatoes? Maybe just not to much butter.

Not all together!!!!!!! If you are going to have beans, than just have the cornbread and a veggie. But than if you have the roast duck...you should have the mashed potatoes and a veggie or salad.

Mashed potatoes, and cornbread would be great, the beans might over do it.

All in one meal that's a lot of carbohydrates...
They all sound wonderful with the duck, but maybe not all on the same day...
