Okay, here's the deal.... This guy and I have been talking for alittle while and he is a cool guy and everything. I'm diffenetly interested but, I get mixed signals from him. He acts interested and them right when I think 'okay we're getting somewhere' he just shuts down and completly shys away. He will text me and ask what are you doing, & then thats it even if I reply or ask him something back it's no answer. & He will ask me if I have plans for a particular day (as if he is trying to ask me out somewhere) & nothing again. He'll call and if I miss it he'll say no it wasn't me or an excuse to not make him seem like he was trying to get a hold of me. Like it was an accident(yeah right 3x a day) I just want to know if their is something I am missing here is he trying to give me a sign or just what the hell is going on! I haven't had much dating experience so any advice is great.

i used to do that to people...not call 3xs a day, but text people and not answer....it really doesnt mean anything, just feels better sometimes to know you can write back whenever you want. Calling 3xs a day, i don't know, maybe he's bored, or maybe he is just shy and likes you but doesnt want you to know because he is afraid of rejection....yamean! :)

Try and get together with him somtime is he's says he busy try again try 3 times and if at least twice he decides to do it he is definetly intersted but maybe just a little shy. Try and find out why he keeps he's heart closed off get close to him and be senstitive.

he does like you but seems hesitant. maybe he is alittle shy or doesnt quite know if you like him also. why not make the first move and ask him out if you like him. read tips on dating and more to help you on this site

he is probably really shy and doesnt want you to no that he likes you, or he could be in denial. every time he thinks ur both getting somewhere he might think tht u dont like him or something. so he shys away.

when he isnt sure Hes just nervous so take the bull by the horns and say Maybe we can do lunch.
