iam a sophomore in high school and i feel like the homework the teachers give us is ridiculous, just yesterday i had to read the red badge of courage and take 155 + notecards on it...is anyone else with me that teachers need to give us a break.

I TOTALLY AGREE WITH YOU- even in Jr. High we had too much homework... Let me see if I can remember...

in 8th grade I had five major tests in one day!
I also had a HUGE project due...
and erm...
They give you so much homework and expect everything to be done "on time"!!! Teachers also say that if you don't do your projects almost the day they are assigned "you have bad time management skills"!!!!
The other day our computer lab tech. read us an article that the countries with less homework and NO weekend work did better in school and those countries with on average of LOTS of homework did poorly or were less "brainy"!!
CAN YOU BELIEVE IT??!?!?!

That sounds bad!!! I am homeschooled but i still get TON of work i have to do every day and i think it is waaaay 2 much im worried when i go 2 school 4 real next year im gonna get so much work!! Eeeeek!!!!

I completely agree, there is always too much to do in so little time. I honestly think we spend enough of our time at school during the week, let alone the weekends AND after school! Everything is even worse when you have G.A.T.E. classes.

YES!!!!!!!!!! same with me i had 3 huge projects due today! seriously they need to lighten the load!
