I really dont get why people have to be *****. I wasnt trying to ******* say he cant dance with his mother. jesus christ. I just wanted some ideas of a sweet mother son slow dance song. Theres lot of father/daughter songs, but im stumped on this one. ugh.

There is a mother/son dance. I'm in the middle of planning my wedding and I let my mother pick the song. She chose "Godspeed (sweet dreams)" by the Dixie Chicks. If you search for Mother son dance songs, you'll find many helpful ideas

Sometimes the mother and son dance during the father/daughter just so that the groom stays in the spotlight.
However, maybe let the mother and son decide that or ask a DJ what he typically plays for those occasions.

Yes there is usually a mother/son dance after the father/daughter dance. I recommend Glenn Miller or something slow but not depressing. Ask the mother for song ideas. You can do enya or something else that is just to set the mood.

At my wedding, my husband and I decided to dance with our parents at the same time to save time. It was great and so sweet. We danced to "A Wink and a Smile" by Harry Connick Jr and during the instrumental middle, we invited all other mother/son, father/daughter couples to join us. It was a great way to pack the dance floor and people loved being included. It was the best way to get dancing started!

I am getting married next year and my dad and I picked My Girl as our dance and my fiance and his mom are dancing to You'll Be In My Heart by Phil Collins. Second runners up were You Got a Friend (for both of us) Rufus Wainwright's version of Somewhere Over The Rainbow for him and his mom and Billy Joel's Just the Way You Are for my dad and I.
