We have 3, 2yrs and under. We decided that we were done when our youngest was born. My husband says he wants to get fixed, but never gets around to making the appointment. In the mean time we've been using condoms.
The last 3 times we've had sex it's been in the middle of the night or first thing in the morning, I wake up to him already going for it.
Well when he's done I realize NO CONDOM!
What the hell? I asked him if he wants more kids and he says no, but then why is he doing this?

Sounds like he is irresponsible to me, if he says he doesn't want more kids and then has unprotected sex with you anyway. But this might soon become your problem, if you don't deal with it.
Have you asked him WHY he is doing this? And WHY he hasn't made the appointment for his vasectomy? Many men are afraid of having this done. Perhaps he is, too?
Have you thought about having a tubal ligation or getting a Mirena IUD since you don't want any more children and already have three under the age of two?
Also, I think its really really creepy that you wake up to your husband "already going for it." Its like you didn't even give your consent, like he is raping you or something. Just sounds strange to me. I mean how much enjoyment are you getting from something when you are sound asleep?

He's not lazy, he has no respect for you! Any man who "is already going for it" while you are a sleep is not a man but a rapist! COME ON! You married this feeble attempt at a man, if you don't want anymore kids, make the appointment for him and then make him go. I would add this little sentence to make sure he complies. When you get it done, you can do me, but until that happens, no more snack attacks in the middle of the night and then wear pants that have a lock on it, granny panties in layers, jamies with tie bottoms, flannel, etc. And honey, you tell him the next time he starts without you, he may not get anything more from you, but from Bubba down at the jail! Thats just WRONG!!!!!!

Sounds like he is either lazy or just not worried about it.
Make the appointment for him reminder him the day before.
Or go and get on BC yourself.

When you say "already going for it" i hope you aren't saying he is in the middle of having sex with you when you are asleep, that is rape! If you dont want anymore kids i say you put a stop to his midnight sexcapades and put him out on the couch.

first of all.... you wake up and he's already "going for it"? that is creepy and gross. second of all... i agree that you should hold back until he gets some initiative. he sounds lazy and i'm sure he doesn't really want to have a "the snip" most guys don't. they think they won't be "a man" anymore. and ultimately i'm sure the whole "taking care of the babies" is more your responsibility than his.

Most men don't always think of the obvious. Be more pro-active about your feelings. Don't be afraid to say "Get the glove or get no love" If he truly wants no more children, he'll do it.

Definately cut him off until he gets fixed, that's what my girlfriend did and he went just a few days later. Problem solved.
