If I step on one more cat turd when I get into the shower in the morning, the cat is going to learn to fly.

Obviously, the cat has a litter box. it's actually about 10 feet from the shower. Maybe it's too smal? he needs a bigger litter box, and the tub looks like the right size for him?

I had that trouble for a while with a cat. Try leaving a little water in the tub: he'll eventually get the idea that his paws will get wet if he jumps in there.

Good luck!

Ahhh, if I only had your problem. Mine left a big steamer on my bed. From what I have read he might be doing it because his box is dirty -- some cats are so flippin' high and mighty that they want new sand every day. You might think it is clean and he may have a different opinion. Or maybe he does not like his litter? The one that I believe applies to my 14 year old furr ball is that she is P'd off and that is how she vents her anger. We have two kids, one she loves the other (17 month old boy) she could do without. I think she is getting back at us for having him. So maybe something in your household has changed that is making him mad? It is so hard to tell with cats. Does he go anywhere besides the tub?
Good luck with your tub crapper. My mother had a cat that used to pee inside the burners of the stove. You never saw it, but you sure got a good whiff when you started to cook. Ugh. How do we love them so much to tolerate such rude behavior?

You've got issues if you're going to hurt your pets because they made a bathroom mistake. :-(

Is his litterbox really clean? Keep it scooped at least once a day. Consider buying a LitterMaid.

Are there other cats? Too many cats and too few boxes = cats making mistakes elsewhere.

Is there anything upsetting near where the litterbox is kept? For example a new puppy kept downstairs in the same area as the litterbox will frighten away the cat. The cat will have no choice.

Maybe the bathtrub less attractive for going potty. Clean it well to remove any residual cat scent. Try using a cleaner with a strong orange scent; citrus repels most cats. If you have a shower curtain, keep it pulled back & up so it doesn't give him something to dig on.

look why dont u try to go to a mental health insitute ,look cats do thinks for alot of reasons for example u arent cleaning his litterbox ,or the litter box isnt big enough and the reason which i think it is doing that is cause maybe u have the litter box in a visualble place and cats like us like privacy so change it from the place u have it to another place more secretive hidden but show him were it is and never put litter box near his food u wouldnt like to eat were u **** right and take the **** that he crapped and put it in the litter box remember change the litter box from were it is at to a more hidden place and dont put the food near and if it keeps on happening understand when pets do things that they dont actually do is there way to telling u something remember they dont talk like we do and dont u dare mistreat the cat cause it is a part of the family and that is an abuse and it shows how little u are of a man

Why not buy her/him a kitty litter box. HOW cheap are you.??
They train your cat to use it. Keep your shower door close or close your bathroom door. How hard is that to do......
