First you as a parnet have to be ready and whoever is watching your kids. Being ready as a parents takes dedication to be prepared to clean up after them for like a week. I have found with both kids Pull ups only slow the process down and it has to be all or nothing. It means if you are going out you need to be prepared to use the public bathrooms and your child needs to be prepared.
After that your child is ready if...
1- Can verbalize the need to go
2- Can walk to the potty
3- Has dry diapers for extended amounts of time.
A week before training limit drinks to certain times a day and write down everytime your child pees or poos and you might see a schedule to work with.

you can start when they are two. but each child is different their bodies will tell them. I thought I had my daughter potty trained through the day and she was wearing diapers at night but when I woke up and saw her standing by the bed an going in her diaper she knew what she was doing. so the diaper went bye-bye.. invest in a pad for the bed. some kids train easy and others just take their time. just don't spank them if they have an accident just tell them oops we better try to go potty now and let them sit I found that if you get those little toilet seats that fit on the toilet with a little step stool it works better. than a little potty chair and a lot less messy. you will find yourself being a poopy cheerleader yelling and clapping yeh you made a poopy. don't feel silly because every mother has done it. Good luck at becoming diaper free. the only downside is now you have to stop and make potty breaks when you travel.

Really depends on how hard you are willing to work. The younger the child the more effort from the parent. If you let the child train at their own pace you will probably be looking at around 3, but I have found that there are less regression periods, and they understand better. Also it may get discouraging, but ususally unless there are underlying issues, there arent many kids in Kindergarten with diapers, so as long as you are willing to change diapers, it doesn't need to be an issue. If they have friends or siblings that use the toilet, they will be interested and it will be easier for you

It all depends on the child. Most children will love to sit on the potty when they are able to walk. Mine were all potty trained by the age of two, one of them just 18 months.

Be prepared to hear all manner of opinions on this subject from strangers (here and elsewhere) and from family.
Most children are old enough to start comprehending the concept by the time they're 2 or so, but don't expect success until they're closer to three. I think by the time a child is old enough to go to pre-school (3 or 4), he's old enough to learn how to go on the potty. But, like so many things -- it's all subjective. I think it's nuts when people let their children decide. I don't know about you, but I am not into changing diapers and soiled clothes when a kid is four and five years old. If my nephew had his way, he'd wear diapers until he's old and married.

2-4 Its different for every kid. You can give them a potty chair and read the potty books and all that stuff when they are younger but you will know when they are ready. Don't push them....it will just take longer!

2yrs, when they start walking! you taking him/her to the potty knowing they need to potty is not potty trained. Potty trained is when the child can get up on his/her own and go to the restroom on his/her own.

My little girl was born 6 weeks premature and is 3 years old. We just got her toilet trained this summer. We tried when she was 18 months old she just wasn't ready. Your little one will let you know when they are ready. Every little one is different. My oldest(which is 14 was trained by 1 year old). My secon child was trained at 18 months old. don't rush it, it takes time.

2-3 is usually the age when they are ready. they will give you signs that they are ready like trying to take the diaper off alot and wanting to go towards the restroom

when your child starts to show some interest and you can really tell that they are going or about to go. it makes it alot easier when they want to do it. and you dont push them. been through it 7 times with my kids and the ones i sat for.
