I'm doing some research on it for a class and just wondered what the general public thought of it.

IT IS MY WONDER DRUG!!! well its tied with Zofran (an anti-emetic that my Dr gave me while i was pregnant.. phenergan didn't work) i suffer from MDD.. major depression disorder... i have been on Prozac and Zoloft before... i still felt really down with both of them.. Zoloft made me crazy feeling... then they tried wellbutrin!!

not only do i feel great!! but i have lost alot of weight while on it!!! I'm on 300mg once a day!!

one down fault... you can not mix it with consuming alcohol... it will cause seizure activity!!!! also take it of the mornings because if you take it at night it can cause insomnia

some of the girls i work with took it for smoking cessation...they loved it too....

I've never heard anyone not like it... the only down fall i think pple would have with it .. is they don't give it a chance... because it takes 4-6 weeks to start being affected.. but about a wk after starting on it.. you feel BETTER!!!

I *HEART* Wellbutrin... i NEVER want to go without it!!!

hope this helps!

The only side effect I have ever experienced, and I've been on wellbutrin for 4 years, is anxiety, a little more than usual.

I tried Wellbutrin xr for about 2 months and had a really bad seizure from it. I never had seizures before in my life. I have never been the same since the seizure, still have short term memory loss. be careful.

I took it and I really liked it, no bad side effects, but about 3 weeks after I broke into hives. My doctor said I was having a chemical reaction and I had to be taken off.

I used it when I tried to quit smoking, and had some unpleasant side-effects. I had a noticeable short-term memory loss and my irritability shot through the roof (this had nothing to do with not smoking, as the symptom persisted even when I resumed smoking).

I was prescribed that about 5 years ago to help me quit smoking and it was awful! Obviously it has different effects on different people, but for me it didn't work and made me worse. I was very moody and had mood swings that almost resembled someone with a manic-depressive disorder, which I don't have.

i was on wellbutrin for quite a while and it didn't really help me. i was on it for depression. all it did was keep me AWAKE. i could not go to sleep at all. taking wellbutrin was, for me, like drinking 3 cups of coffee at a time..! it also gave me really bad headaches. so, it didn't really help me..
