Is the car high milage? That's the kind of car execs and lawyers buy to commute an hour each way, so there are a lot of high milage ones out there.

that would also explain your great price. Check out the car thouroughly to make sure it hasn't been wrecked or flooded. Car fax isn't 100% certain, so take it to a good shop.

It's difficult to explain what to look for to find evidence of paint work, but look under the hoods at the nuts that hold the fender on....do they look perfect or are there little marks from someone screwing them on/off? Open the doors, and run your finger along the inside of the door jam on the side closest to the back of the seat. If you can feel a tiny bit of a line there, it's a paint line.

Yes, I had an acura and drove 220,000 km on it before selling it. The only reason I sold it was that it didn't have air conditoining, otherwise, I would have drove it until 400,000 km. Acura's are hondas and hondas make good reliable engines. I had a 1992 Acura Integra. The only thing I didn't like and is my complaint with a lot of japanese cars is that they don't give you a lot of leg room.

Thats a swell price. I just traded a 1996 Acura Integra in this weekend and man, it was such a great car. It had 130K miles on the original clutch! Great on gas, great handling. Not a whole lot of low-end torque but then again, my engine was 1.8 litres and yours is double!! Good luck!

i own a repair shop, and they really are good cars to own they don't give a lot of trouble so that means your saving money right there, but as far as the problems they do give ,on the most of them i have seen its usually minor things, and there cheap to operate also ,and it sounds like you have found a good deal on one ,that's a good price for one ,but have it checked out really good to make sure its in good shape before you by it,remember looks can hide problems, and often buyers get ripped off ,because they buy on looks instead dependability, good luck,i hope this help,s.

acuras are excellent cars...that sounds very cheap if its in good shape...might want to pull a carfax and have it checked out to by a bodyshop or mechanic to make sure it hasnt been wrecked.
