I don't want to step on toes but there is just a few things I don't get. I'll be glad to hear what you people think and what your viewpoints are.

If there was such a thing as big bang then

why do people all have different fingerprints?

why are we not still evolving?

how did everthing know when to stop evolving?

And why are there different planets in the universe, they must have a function, or why else are there so many?

Someone said that the big bang and evolution are two different things. I didn't know that, please explain.

It is funny you say that. Did you know many scientist are starting to wonder if the findings on evolution are correct. To many things working too perfectly. You and I both know only one thing could make that happen. GOD our living God the creator of all. But then again maybe some of the self proclaimed scientists here can better answer you. Because I am like you am naturally biased. It is so easy for those with lack of understanding to acknowledge our WONDERFUL GOD! But they will believe in the complications of evolution!

I don't really see the relationship between the big bang and fingerprints. The reason we all have different fingerprints is because physically we are separate people.

Who says we are not still evolving? Evolution doesn't happen over leaps and bounds in a single day, nor does it happen with a single birth but it is a gradual change in people over long periods of time.

Everything hasn't stopped evolving. Some species evolve very slowly as they haven't had to change much to survive in Nature (i.e. alligators and sharks) Where as other species have evolved quite a bit over time (i.e. humans).

The reason there are so many planets according to the "Big Bang" theory is because if you cause an explosion the matter will be spread out over a large area. As far as them having a function it is because the matter gathered together due to gravitational forces.

One thing you must remember is that Science explains in terms of how and not why. Intelligent Design explains in terms of why but not how.

The Big Bang refers to the formation of the universe 13.7 billion years ago. Evolution refers to the rise of diverse life on Earth starting from a precursor about 4 billion years ago.

Fingerprints patterns are not genetically determined. Our genes call for the formation of ridges on the palms and soles, but the pattern is not preprogrammed; the spacing is programmed, but the start is controlled by subtle factors.

We are evolving. So is every other living thing.

Planets are formed by the residual matter as a gas cloud collapses into a star. It coalesces by gravity.

We ARE still evolving. Over the past 100 years, the average human cranial capacity has grown. The problem is, individuals do not evolve, generations don't evolve, SPECIES evolve. In one life time, you won't see evolution happening because it takes hundreds if not thousands if not MILLIONS of generations, depending on how big a change you're looking for.

As for planets, why must a thing have a function to exist? There's this white spot on my desk here at work. I have no idea how it got there. It's just a speck. It's obviously not supposed to be there, but it is. So what's its function? It exists, so by your logic, it must have a purpose and function.

By the way, you're mixing up big bang and evolution. Big no-no, they're two totally separate fields.

it doesn't seem like we are evolving because nature takes millions of years to evolve. Human beings have been around, maybe 3 million years. Pre-historic creatures have been around hundreds of millions of years. Maybe we will be around for a hundred million years before we start to evolve into, you know, "alien-type" super beings. But the point is, don't worry about evolution, just take some wonder at the system as a whole.

1./ Because we are all formed differently in the womb and have different genes
2./ We are. Evolution takes millions of years. Though on a small scale e.g. bacteria becoming resistent to drugs, we can demonstrate evolution
3./ It hasn't
4./ There isn't a purpose to the universe - that is a religious idea.

The only "big bang" that ever happen was when God spoke and the heaven and the earth were created. Genesis 1: 1 In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.

Each person is different, hence different prints.

We are still evolving. It is not overnight, you know.

Nothing stopped evolving.

Big bang.

yes it only makes sense if a Creator was behind it.
the big bang theory is not implausible even to me a Christian if that`s how God started everything who am I to argue, but it had to have had great intelligence behind it for it to have been so ordered.
