i suggest you go to a salon or spa and get a facial done, they will do 'extractions' FOR you which is uncomfortable, but they will get the blackheads out for you.
in Chicago, where i am at, facials run $55-$70 a pop, but every once in while, it's nice to treat yourself...

I have large pores and here is my routine:
Twice a week - use Biore Ultra Deep Cleansing Pore Strips followed by a home microdermabrasion treatment (I use L'oreal).
You will see a bit of a difference right away.
Daily - Use a pore refining cream in place of your usual moisturizer (I like Neutrogena's).
Every few months (or as often as you can afford) - get a facial designed to tighten pores. If you don't have a lot of $$$ like me, go to the local beauty school, where everything is done under the supervision of a professional who really knows their stuff, and costs 1/2 as much.
There is no way to get rid of them permanently, so be very consistent in your routine. Do not pop or poke at them - this will make the problem worse. Good luck.
BTW - I love Green Day too!

To get rid of the already existing blackheads, you have to pop them. They are not infected so they shouldn't leave a scar. Then, to prevent new blackheads, use Clean & Clear Blackhead Eliminating Scrub. To make your pores look smaller, use Clean & Clear Cooling Toner right after you wash off the Scrub with cool water. Do the process every day and you should be blackhead free.
Hope I helped!

i learned in cosmetology school the only way to get rid of a black head is to pop it. i would suggest filling a A bowl with hot water put a towel over your head and then put your face over the steam for 15-30 min. Then try to push the blackhead out. When you do it this way it won’t leave a scar because the steam has further opened your pores so the black heads should pop right out. After that wash your face with Johnson & Johnson’s Clean & Clear blackhead cleansing scrub and you’re the clean and clear acne moisturizer everyday.
Or you can use one of those patches that pulls out black heads without having to do the above with the steam and stuff.

blackheads will always be present particularly if one has oily skin.
You should use oil-free products and keep your skin as clean as possible, cleanse your skin everyday and use an exfoliant and a mask once or twice a week (depends on that particular product).
Before blackheads extraction you should allow your pores to open (by putting your face close to steam, not too close though).... and then use tissues and try to get them out.
hope I helped :)

I have used the strips (Biore) and I love the result. Then I use a cold cloth to close up the pores. A good facial moisterizer is out there that tightens skin too for afterward. Don't give up.

Instead of home remedies did you just trying steaming your face once or twice a week or getting a good facial or mask at your nearest spa, because they've done wonders to my skin.
