In 1994 the FDA approved the use of recombinant bovine somatotropin
(rBST -- better known as bovine growth hormone -- BGH), a genetically-
engineered hormone manufactured by Monsanto that increases milk
production in cows by 10 percent to 25 percent. The milk from cows
treated with BGH contains elevated levels insulin-like growth factor-
1 (IGF-1), one of the most powerful growth factors ever identified.
While IGF-1 doesn't cause cancer, it definitely stimulates its
growth. Recent studies have found a seven-fold increase in the risk
of breast cancer in women with the highest IGF-1 levels, and a four-
fold increase in prostate cancer in men with the highest levels of
IGF-1.

It is bad to drink cow's milk because it has not been pasturized. The milk is thick and the human body would have a harder time digisting it.That is why the milk has to go through a process at a factory before people can drink it.

Supposedly it coats the intestines and you can't digest food properly & so it just gets stored in fat cells. I don't know if thats true or not but I do know that when I stopped drinking milk I lost weight quickly & now I can eat more without gaining weight. I still drink a bit of milk for calcium, but no where near what I used to drink.

cow's bodies were made to digest cows milk. Human beings do not easily break down and digest dairy. That is why as they age they tend to develop lactose intolerances. That is also why an increasing number of children develop milk allergies.

Some people have an allergy to dairy products, although rather less than claim to. One reason is the high levels of growth hormones contained. I would drink organic, skimmed or semi in moderation.
