OK, Michael D. Just click on my face and go to my 360 page. I posted a complete description of the event on my blog.

It was a spike, I killed it with a 300 savage from about 80 yards, and we were in the Oregon coast range.

well, billwhizz, I hope that you feel good about yourself next time you are in the grocery store buying meat. After all, you weren't the one who killed the animal. I simply chose not to delude myself about where food comes from like they do in your “civilized world”.

good luck, Lokbomb! I had to spend several elk seasons hunting before I got my first elk so don't get discouraged even if you don't get anything. If you put your time in hunting you'll get one.
