Of course Christ Jesus rose from the dead. There are proofs of this. The first is obvious; there is no body in the tomb. Secondly, there is the Church. If Christ, who instituted the Church, did not rise from the dead, then there is no Church. All that He did on earth would come to nothing and fade through the years. It would have been like a fad of its time but now just a matter of nostalgia and history. Yet, Christianity and the Church still exist and is vibrant and pertinent even to this age. And there is another reason. No one dies for a lie. The history of the Church is filled with Martyrs (Greek for witness) who have died for this truth. If it were a lie the person would find it futile to preserve it with his life.
These are the proofs of Christ Jesus rising from the dead. May the Lord bless and keep you. May He let the light of His face shine upon you.

"Is it possible that Jesus simply fainted on the cross, and revived while He was in the tomb?"

Jesus had been whipped and beaten, and was bleeding from His head, back, hands, and feet for at least six hours. While he was on the cross, a soldier pierced His side with a spear and blood and water gushed out. Professional soldiers would certainly have completed their assigned task and ensured his death.

"It is impossible that a being who had stolen half-dead out of the sepulcher, who crept about weak and ill, wanting medical treatment, who required bandaging, strengthening, and indulgence, and who still at last yielded to his sufferings, could have given to the disciples the impression that he was a conqueror over death and the grave, the Prince of Life: an impression which lay at the bottom of their future ministry. Such a resuscitation could only have weakened the impression which he had made upon them in life and in death, at the most could only have given it an elegiac voice, but could by no possibility have changed their sorrow into enthusiasm, have elevated their reverence into worship." Strauss, New Life of Jesus (quoted in Who Moved the Stone? by Frank Morison)

Romans 6

4 For we are buried together with him by baptism into death; that as Christ is risen from the dead by the glory of the Father, so we also may walk in newness of life.

Without the resurrection the Christian faith would be without its power.

1 Corinthians 15:12-14
12Now if Christ be preached that he rose from the dead, how say some among you that there is no resurrection of the dead?
13But if there be no resurrection of the dead, then is Christ not risen: 14And if Christ be not risen, then is our preaching vain, and your faith is also vain.

Yes HE did. And think about it, HE did that just so a miserable, nasty wretch like me could spend eternity with Him. You can also come along if you like, I am sure you are not as bad as I was.
