Many so called fundamentalist set their own rules...that is to bad...they are well meaning but try to make things more difficult than it really is....I will take it in my self to apologize to you for their ignorance.
My confusion on here happened early this morning and the questions and statements were removed by the asker. She felt she was being attacked for trying to convince Christians that they are wrong and to save them from their beliefs...she stated that she was an atheist. If Christians are wrong, so what, what are they being saved from?

The answer is in the question. What are fundies, fundamentalists, correct. Jesus is not, was not and will never be a fundie. Fundies have missed the boat. Hello, Jesus taught "i am the truth, the light and the way. Only through me can you reach the Kingdom of Heaven". fundies have not adopted Jesus as the way. "judge not lest ye be judged" Once again HELLO. There is a huge difference between the fundamentalists "preaching" and Christianities " Teaching". What do you want, you want to be preached to or do you want to be taught. I have seen anybody can learn to preach and many preach fewer teach but many more are taught by the few.
If you do not believe do a favor, find a Calvary church. Enjoy the music, see the difference between a service that studies the bible instead of preaching the word and give faith a chance.

It dont.
But the problem is....theres no such thing as universal love.
People have faults.
If you met a man whose killed thousands of people...including your family, how willing would you be to show such a cold blooded murderer any love?
There needs to be a middle road for this.
You can love everyone and everything, but you shoudnt show love to those who hurt other people on purpose. Thats just wrong.
as for fundies...they probably think a non believer in jesus is the same as a man who murders in cold blood...totally without concience.

Jesus did his percentage of reviling yet you does not discover him contained in the village sq. with a protest signal. He replaced right into a gentle instructor to the without delay ahead guy. The reviling replaced into for those in authority. (I confess that I only examine that from different commenters). He said human beings as sheep or goats. He not in any respect said as human beings 'heretics' or 'rebels'. He enable human beings come to a call for themselves which one they were in each and each and every representation. And yet another project, it would were stupid for him to be a popularity-caller because he himself replaced into an merchandise of scorn for looking for reform and not in any respect following time-honored practices as illustrated contained in the reliable Samaritan delusion. it is unhappy that some Christians imagine that that is an powerful variety of preaching. It oftentimes leads human beings to 'back away' even extra. some church buildings invite non-church goers to percentage a turkey dinner and then factor out that possibly you're a rebellion in case you do not attend their church and they ask your self why their attendance not in any respect grows. only because someone can quote scripture and sound like they understand what they are speaking about, it nonetheless would not cause them to better than every person else.

It does not make sense. But who said fundamentalist believers are about making sense? These are also the same people who want to throw poor, sick Mexicans over a big wall they want to build. Brings that phrase, "What would Jesus Do?" to mind. Somehow I don't think he would deny Mexicans healthcare.

Christians are to love everyone but that does not mean that God does. The Bible teaches that God HATES the wicked:
"The boastful shall not stand before Your eyes; You hate all who do iniquity." - Psalms 5:5 (Notice that God does not hate the iniquity, He hates "all who do" iniquity.)
"The LORD tests the righteous and the wicked, And the one who loves violence His soul hates." - Psalms 11:5 (diito)
"For if while we were enemies we were reconciled to God through the death of His Son, much more, having been reconciled, we shall be saved by His life." - Romans 5:10 (We were "enemies" of God, but by His grace, He saved His people. Amazing!)

No sense whatsoever. Of course you need to define hate. We can hate your behavior and even call the cops when your behavior is illegal, for instance. It is for your own good.

Fundamentalists live in their own little world. They cannot tolerate anything that is not exactly as they see or do it.
I know someone like that, except she did not hate, she just did not acknowledge that there was any other way than hers. If it is not there, you cannot hate it. Don't talk about it----it doesn't exist.
