The only true Gospels of Jesus Christ according to the bible, are Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John. These gospels agree and compliment each other.
All other gospels that have ever been rescently discovered, or have been around before the gospel of judas, are of the Gnostic Scriptures. The Gnostic Gospels and similiar ones that come after, are not in or part of the Bible. They present a totally different Jesus than the Jesus of the christian bible. There Jesus is a Mysitic Jesus who was only on the earth as a spirit, in spirit form.
Just as in Islam, there is a Jesus, this Jesus as well is not the Jesus of the Bible. Not at all. The muslim Jesus, is 'Isa. 'Isa (the Jesus of the muslims, from the Quran) is not "The Word" who was in the beginning, was with God and was God. Islam does not believe in, nor teach the incarnation of Jesus. I am not saying that the christian Jesus is the true Jesus from history, or that the muslim Jesus = 'Isa is the true Jesus from historical documents. And I am not saying that the Gnostic, Mystic Jesus is the right or wrong Jesus from true historical documents. But the Jesus from the gospel of judas, is not the Jesus from the bible, he is not the Jesus of Christianity. These are just the facts, of how one perceives their Jesus to be !!

I do not judge or condemn anyone's interpretation of Jesus, or there own Jesus.
Jesus is what people make him to be within there religion in order to meet one's belief system according to the ones who wrote their bible, there gospels, your Quran, etc. I am reading the entire Quran at this time, to have a even better understanding of the muslim Jesus, "Isa.

The truth of who Jesus really is, is who you perceive him to be - to you and to your religion.

Most, but not all religious people are so quick to judge and condemn others, and this should not be.

There are many diversities of languages, cultures, peoples, and religions in the world that should be studied and viewed without judgments.

Isn't having an "I'm right, your wrong attitude a sign of selfish pride ? " Human beings should always practice humility and tolerance. This is my opinion.

I hope this helped you to have a clearer understanding of the Jesus of the bible, the Mystic Jesus of Gnosticism, and the Jesus =
'Isa of your faith (whom you know all about from the Quran).

Have a good day and "you asked a very good question !!" Thank You.

Hi, this is a fictional work on a par with the Da Vinci code, it most certainly derived from well after the last Apostle(John) had died so that it would be difficult to debunk, and was the work of Talmudic Jews in an effort to discredit the other 4 Gospels.
Judas would not have written a Gospel in his lifetime as Jesus would not have given His permission because He went to the cross after Judas committed suicide and therefore Judas would not have been able to write a full Gospel of the Lord, and most importantly would certainly have not witnessed the resurrection of Jesus without which no Gospel would have any credence.

I read this article months ago and incorporated it into my essay the gospel has been autheniticated ohwever my english professor studies religion as well and said there was a flaw in the logic of the article as far as calling judas the archetypal jew and all that cause I used the thesis of this article and cited it sdo I did not plagerize but he said it was backwards somehow and put the cart before the horse in the main idea of the article but I used the magazine not the website so I dont know if they have the same content or not, anyways the whole article is not completely accurate but the gospel was written when it was said to be written and appears to be authentic however there were many parts of the bible that were decided on by church leaders as beinbg not rright and to be left out of the bible and some were included that were very unpopular and allowed to stay in as a concession, the book of revelations is one of them church scholars back in the day thought the guy who wrote this was a loon and did not believe in it the book of revelations did not even become to be taken seriously in our society until the 1980's before then it was like a joke in scholarly ciricle so this gospel porves nothing other than it is very interesting to read and an intersting story as to how it was discovered and purchased and translated as well

How could Judas write a Gospel if he committed suicide? The gospel of Judas was written years after the crucifixtion of Jesus Christ...which Judas hung himself around the time Jesus was crucified. Maybe just before or just after.

The Gospel of Judas was written by a Gnostic sect known as the Cainites. They believed Yahweh (Translated in the Hebrew Bible as LORD) was evil, and had been harming people since the time of Cain (son of Adam and Eve). The Cainites viewed Judas as one more victim of Yahweh. However, because they were Gnostics, they would have looked for spiritual rather than literal meanings of events, so I doubt the Gospel of Judas can be deemed as a reliable text for historical accuracy.

The gospel of Judas is false, and there is no truth in it.

These ideas come straight out of the biggest doctrinal challenge with which the early church had to contend--Gnosticisn, a diffused blending of ideas from Christian, Jewish, Greek, and Roman thought. The New Age movement in our times provides a rough comparison.

Gnosticism comes from the Greek word gnosis, which means “knowledge”. The Gnostics claimed to have superior knowledge, and cast scorn on the teachings of the Bible as belonging to a foolish level of truth. They asserted that the disciples of Jesus were too stupid to comprehend His deep instruction, which He passed on in secret to those who were able to receive it. And in the Gospel of Judas, the tables are turned as the “villain” is revealed as the channel of Jesus’ true teachings.

>What do you all people think about this whole Judas gospel fact

Fact? No. Just an old fiction.

Find the date when this GNOSTIC gospel was written.
Many years after the first century events and the first-century Gospel accounts.

from what I understand about the Gospel of Judas is that it ends with Judas death.

So it dose not give any evidence whether Jesus did or did not die.

PS I am not Christian
