The fact is not half it is 44% of the world, not 50% of the world. Not all christians worship Jesus. Only 40% of the worlds population believe that Jesus is God. Only most, not all, of those who believe that Jesus was and is still God, worship him as God.
The almost 40% of the people in the whole world that worship Jesus, worship him because they believe he is God. This is the answer to your question.

Your numbers are off by a long shot. Most people actually don't worship or believe in Jesus.

You're probably a Christian trying to pull the Argumentum ad Populum... you're wrong for that reason, but why are you lying? What happened to "thou shalt not bear false witness"?

I don't know what the actual percentage is, but I worship Him because He loves people so much He died in our place even though He lived a perfect life, so our sins can be forgiven, if only we believe in Him and repent.

I am sure everyone has their own reason. I was not raised to, but I worhsip Jesus because He rescued me and saved my life when I was in jail and hooked on drugs.
I doubt you'll get half the world to answer, but thats my reason, thanks for asking!
