It is NOT safe for sellers. Paypal just took money (33.00) back out of my account after I sold something on ebay. The buyer --who used someone else's account to purchase from me-- received the items, AND admitted she received them. They would not refund my money to me because I did not have an online way of proving she received it; i.e. delivery confirmation (items were sent first class). So the fact that she admitted she did receive them (in an e-mail) meant nothing to Paypal; they should have gotten the money back from HER and not ME. Don't these people have any common sense? Now I am out the money and Paypal will not give it back, and the buyer will not give it back, OR the merchandise. BEWARE OF PAYPAL!!!

Paypal is basically an on-line bank account....and I love it. I make money on-line (see 360 blog) and the money gets paid to paypal. I then take that money and put it into my regular account, or use paypal to buy things on-line.

Its safe to use. I am transacting on paypal from last 2 year. Whatever money i earn through online work, they all pay thru paypal only.

Paypal has a good service. I use them. I trust them. Very convenient and affordable online business and personal means of commerce. Check 'em out: paypal.com You can pay from your credit cards or bank account. If selling, you can accept credit cards and eletronic transfers to and from your bank and your customers. You can do shipping and purchase shipping labels, etc to ship stuff without going to the Post Office. Use most transit carriers, too. Buy insurance and it goes on and on. Yes, it is safe and secure.

Paypal is safe and is used mostly for online auction sites such as Ebay. They handle all transactions and will not divulge your confidential and financial information to any of the people you deal with.
