Yes basically...... God doesn't basically look at religion, God seeks and knows every heart.... that's the key THE HEART.
I was raised Catholic.... basically consider myself a Christian, although what I ascertain is that I really don't need a religion to know and connect with God.
God is in any Church, as long as there is one true believer of the heart there, God is there.... God is everywhere:)

A person can find god through any religion. It is up to the person and their journey through life. It's not about right and wrong, or which god is better, when there is dogma there is going to be human error, it's about the journey and finding your place, your meaning to life, your own personal thoughts and feelings.

No, not usually. "God" is an idea to most people in religion today. They want to be on the side of the Big Battalions when the time comes, but have no hands on or taste of what they are referring to. Most religions are filled with followers who, like Muslims who would be terrorists, or Christians who would fight in the name of Jesus, have no relationship with what the word God implies.

I think so. I mean most theists believe in one or two gods (often times above all others if there is more than one god in their pantheon) who is/are the creator(s) and source of all things. It's just that the perception of that particular god form (from any specific religion's viewpoint) and our relationship to the God of our understanding based on our religion or individual viewpoint is what's different. Not only that, but all religions stem from ancient religions. The religions of today were built upon the religions of the past.

No. "If anyone desires a religion other than Islam submission to ALLAH(God) never will be accepted of Him"(Soorah Aal' imraan 3:85)
"Verily ALLAH will not forgive the Joining of partners with Him, but He may forgive (sins) less than that for whomsoever He wishes"(Soorah An-Nissa 4:48 and 116)
"Abraham was not a Jew nor yet a Christian but an upright Muslim"(Soorah Aal' imraan 3:67)
"And behold! ALLAH will say: "O Jesus son of Mary! Did you say to men, Worship me and my mother like gods besides ALLAH?" He will say:"Glory to you I could never say what I had no right (to say)" (Soorah AI-Maa'idah 5:116)
"This day I have perfected your religion for you, completed My favor upon you, and have chosen for you Islam as your religion"(Soorah AI-Maa'idah 5:3)
In other words only Islam leads you to God and Paradise(Heaven).

No, but most major religions that believe in the essense of one God lead you to the right path. Only you can lead yourself to God, no matter what religion you are.

Yes and no.
Yes religions have their own beliefs and they believe in a god. But not all people believe in the same god.
I personally believe in God the Father of Jesus Christ.
