Check your search engine for Maya. Go to their web page, answer a few questions, as if you know what you're doing, and they will allow you to download a copy. Autodesk recently acquired this software and want more people to know about it. I don't believe that there are any limitations to this software. Just don't use it professionally. It is for "educational purposes only".

If you are in college/high school, you can purchase educational versions (you have to provide proof, in eithera course schedule or your transcripts)


otherwise its a very costly software, and you dont "own" it outright. you are purchasing a license to run it, and if your license expires without you renewing it, your software will stop working
