Damien u r a spaz, i could look in both the Torah and bible and find similar quotes. plus quotes can be misunderstood and should be read in the context they were written in. ISLAM ROCKS BABY!!! heehee sorry had to much chocolate today. For those who say Islam is to extreme, i say one-night stands, promiscuity, STD's, affairs, prostitution, broken homes, drinking, drug use, THAT'S extreme, but very prevalent in western society. Judge not unless your willing to be judged. I'm Muslim, young, educated, religious, married, and HAPPY, not going to blow myself up anytime, and i couldn't point out Israel in a map!! Oh, and I can spell, YaYY me!!!

I think every religion has its good points and bad points. Some are more radical and extreme than others(Catholicism) and some dont even try to recruit people, people come to them(Buddhist). It all depends on what youre looking for in a religion. If it holds the same values you have and is something you think you could be for the rest of your life, then convert to Islam. But I do suggest you look into all religious beliefs before you make an oath to it.

Every religion has its radicals. Radicals and religion do not mix. When you have radicals and religion you have what is going on in the middle east today. Now lets look at all other religions. Jesus say the truth and the way are but through me. There is only one meaning to this. Anyone who wants to get to the Kingdom of Heaven, be they Jewish, Islamic, Buddist or otherwise will need to convert to Christianity. It does not matter how faithful you have been in what ever religion you have pursued, the Son of God has laid it out in no uncertain terms. If I may suggest to you to find a Calvary Church where you live. Calvary is unique in that there is no sermon. Worship is done through song and Bible study during what is otherwise known as the service. It is interesting in so much as you learn the bibles meaning and song is a powerful energetic means of communing with God. Good Luck

Well i'm glad you encountered a good soul.
It's not the religion that makes a good heart. It's the actions of a person.
Next time you encounter a hate crime on muslims, you have a good basis too put up a good fight.
Thats awesome to hear,
Blessed Be.

Islam, like all religions, is founded in love. If practiced correctly, then it is still a very loving religion. However, the extremists have given it a bad name. They are not practicing true Islam. This girl of whom you speak gave you the right idea, it sounds like.

Allah is calling you to the straight path, read surah 10:25. Allah calls whom He wills.
Read the entire Qur'an before making the decision to say shahada (declaration of faith) and make sure it is what you already know in your heart. Qur'an is broken down into "jus" (equal portions) which can take you through it in a month of reading (usually done during Ramadan) or you can read it in a weekend if in a hurry....
Ask God for guidance, knowledge and mercy, and trust He will lead you.

I live in an Islamic country and right now I am listening to my fiancee pray. It's a peaceful, beautiful religion that I love and respect completely. Please do not let angry souls here deter you from learning more about Islam. Follow your heart.

As a possible religion for you? I don't know, only you can make that choice.
Generally, I think its a very loving and nice religion, as are many of them. Good and bad nuts in them all!

After having read the concordance the local Mosque guided me two and reading the three primary english interpretations? I can only conclude that it is a violent and dangerous religion.
It gives jews & christians these choices:
1. Convert
2. Pay jizya when we conquer you and get used to being second class citizens.
3. Die.
And if you're not a follower of the god of abraham, forget #2, you get Convert or Die.
This is not peace. This isn't even love. This isn't even spiritual surrender. This is religious slavery.
