To know the answer to this question a person would have to know exact ages and or personality of the people involved. Someone who is 20 and dating a 30 year old would be legally ok but the two would be at different levels in their lives. A 20 year old might be enjoying college life while a 30 year old may already have children and an ex wife/husband. Someone who is 30 and is dating a 40 year old would probably work because they would both be of adult mind. Someone who is 40 though may still be thinking young while someone who is 50 is slowing down in life. Someone who is 15 should definitely not date someone who is 25 because it is obvious that the 25 year old is a pervert just looking for one thing plus it's illegal. Of course there are rare instances where a 25 year old and 35 year old are just right for each other. It all depends on the two people involved. Their maturity level and how they really feel about one another. Good luck with your romance. Take care.

Although it's your feelings that matter most, there are some things to consider. The younger you are, the bigger difference it is. Not because of what society thinks, but because of life experiences. The difference between 20 and 30 is usually fairly extreme in what each age has been exposed to, experience, choices made, etc. However, the difference between 45 and 55 is less great, due to the same criteria.
Of course, there are always exceptions to this and that is a personal judgement call. I dated a man 12 years older than me, but due to his previous (before we met) long-term marriage, he was less exposed to aspects of the world than I was. Therefore, the relationship worked very well.
I am seldom attracted to men younger than I am, not simply because of their age. It has more to do with the fact that they haven't been around as much and aren't able to carry on as many diverse conversations, express a variety of views, etc. Good luck!!!

If, you're both above the legal age on consent, then age difference is pretty much irrelevant.

If the two of you love each other, just go for it. And don't take any notice of what some narrow minded people might say.

How old are you? Is he the older? My step-dad is 12 years older than my mom, I believe. Tom Cruise & Katie Holmes look happy. So do Catherine Zeta Jones & Michael Douglas. The list could go on.

As u grow older proportionate differene lessens.
Like when u r 15, he's 25, it is 3:5
when u r 20, he's 30, its 2:3
when u r 40, he's 50 or vie versa, its 4:5
So its all relative.
As u grow older, u mature(hopefully)and handle more situations and rel easily.

The 10 years is ok if you are over 28 or so. Any younger and you run a higher chance of activity issues.

As long as you are both over 18; I see no problem with it. I am 10 years older than my hubby.

Depends. As long as you are both at least 18, it's fine. Although I wouldn't personally go out with anyone younger than 21.
