According to some religious communities..Yes I am sure this among many, many other ways of life are considered "sins."..I belief if those two people are Happy with their life and the way they are living it they will be just fine. After all, who else are they trying to make happy?..That will not be for us humans to judge..Nor GOD since he is not judgmental..

That depends on what is the understanding of ‘sin.’ Let’s take the case of little znz_zan who went to the loo, while wiping, the toilet paper being thin his finger slipped in. What do you think; did he commit a sin??? There are those who would say “Yes” because he should have use water. Using paper is not our custom. There are those who use paper who could say, “Knowing the paper was thin, he should have taken extra care, he should have used another layer of paper etc. Then there are those that would argue, “The paper was not thin, he purposely put his finger in.
Living together and then upgrading to marriage is far better than getting married and upgrading to Divorce. Living together and then splitting is painful for two. Getting married and then splitting is painful to two + innocent children + extended families and relatives of both. A hell of a lot of people getting hurt don’t you agree? To me: -
“Doing something against our own conscious is a sin
Everything else is something one can freely indulge in.”

Thinking doesn't enter into a discussion about "sin." Either you're afraid of the bible, and since the bible says it's a sin you must stop it, because you do what you're told. Or you use your mind and reason to figure that there's nothing wrong with two consenting adults doing whatever they want with each other.

It's a matter of each person's religious convictions--the two people involved have to answer for their own actions so I think it's their perogative. It's no one else's business what two adults choose to do--provided no one else is affected. Living together without the benefit of a formal marriage ceremony is a choice that theres to make. Why should anyone care?

Yes it is a sin, but they are free to sin any way they want, they just have to face the consequences in the next life.

The bible condemns this practice because marriage should be a permanent bond between two people and he has set the standards for this in the bible. Fornication is condemned in the bible:
1 Thessalonians 4:1-5
1 Finally, brothers, we request YOU and exhort YOU by the Lord Jesus, just as YOU received [the instruction] from us on how YOU ought to walk and please God, just as YOU are in fact walking, that YOU would keep on doing it more fully. 2 For YOU know the orders we gave YOU through the Lord Jesus.
3 For this is what God wills, the sanctifying of YOU, that YOU abstain from fornication; 4 that each one of YOU should know how to get possession of his own vessel in sanctification and honor, 5 not in covetous sexual appetite such as also those nations have which do not know God;

You become a sinner by just being born in some beliefs.Everything humans do is considered a sin.No lying,no hating ,no lusting.Any bad thought is considered a sin.I think it's up to the 2 people involved and none of anybody else's business.

by the way, I thought sin was what God thought...
living together is just an easy way out of the responsibility of being together with someone...
its an easy way out cause u can leave whenever you want...if u dont feel like it..and no one can ask you why or how..
just sounds bad to me.
and Ive always said this..marriage protects people from being hurt and walked all over by the person they share their life with..
