microsoft word v publisher?

i would like a breif description of microsoft word and microsoft publisher like a comparison

Word is for word processing. Publisher is for making stuff like flyers, invitations, etc. Publisher works better with moving around graphics, pictures, etc. Word is pretty much for documents and has limited functionality on the graphics side.
