I think a hawk picked up my mothers little dog but somehow he got away. He was definately hurt and ran for cover everytime the hawk showed up. Hawks cannot be shot but if you do, bury it immediately so you don't get caught. There is a fine. Only Indians are allowed to have hawk and eagle feathers. It is unlawful for other Americans to be in possession of them. Not that I think this is right but it is the law. Hawks will definately pick up small pets. This has been reported before. If you have a pet outside, that is being harrassed, call the local police and ask what you can do to get rid of it. Unless you just shoot it first.

The cat or the hawk? Cat no, hawk yes, if you can eat around the meat ruined by the bullet, unless you are in a state where hawks are endangered.
