Better things to do with my time, like contemplating the virtues of Ulysses.

I think it's a good excuse for you to show off. You clearly have nothing to say about mensa, because you didn't say what you had expected, or how it was different, so how is anyone meant to answer you question? They can't you just want to feel smug about yourself and for people to tell you that you must be really clever. Oh and I'm not bitter, I have an IQ of 143.

Also, to the person below me, an IQ of 138 is easily high enough to get into mensa. I think you need around 131 to be in the 98th percentile.

I have the dubious distinction of having been rejected by them TWICE! (slapping self in forehead) My IQ is "only" 138....... because I have zero math ability. All I wanted was to be around people who have more on their minds than what's on TV...... and I'm not good enough. PFFFFT to Mensa. My sister was accepted, and says I am not missing a thing because they're all a bunch of snobs anyway. But dang, I do get tired of stoooopid people!
