my little sibling (little sister)
says she wants to hold my snake
and i keep saying no but she keeps asking
(the snake is seriusly poisonus )
(and my little sister is like 11 years old
how do i tell her i dont want her to touch my snake without seeming mean ( or scaring the living crap out of her)

I don't see a problem here--Simply sit down & talk to her about it. Explain that the snake is poisonous & what could happen. Tell her that you care about her & don't want her to get hurt. Maybe getting a book from your local library that has pictures & explanations would help. She would proably be very happy to just spend some time with you & that would show her that you really care about her.

Sometimes scaring the crap out of her is the best thing to do. You should just make her realize that the snake is very poisonous and that it is not a toy or something you take lightly. If she doesn't understand that, maybe tell mom to explain it to her for you. She will come around.

it's not like your sis is a baby - she's 11. why don't you go on line, look up this particular snake information and let her read it - telling her, it's just not me telling you it's poisonous - but, it's a known fact. then without any options tell her - i'm not only telling you not to hold this snake but i'm demanding it. i love you too much to see anything happen to you. if she has any sense, she'll understand and obey. good luck.

well I think you have to tell her that the snake is dangerous and could make painly injury ( kids have a panic from pain and blood .. you know ). take care I mean take care she's only 11 years old ..

just tell her its poisonous and if it bites her she can become very sick. it might scare her some but she will leave it alone after that.sometimes the truth is best.
