Anybody ever sabatoged their OWN relationship? Like things are going well, but for some reason, you feel yourself trying to undo things? It might be happening to me (she seems to be doing it). I have heard of it, just wondering if anyone has, why? What is scary about a potentially great relationship?

Some people grew up in such dysfunctional homes (divorced parents, remarriages, second divorces, step-kids, visitations, drama) that a normal, stable relationship just feels weird. They're so used to tension and upset, it makes the good relationships feel wrong.

I've broken it off because of distance, but with the intention of getting back together.

She may be doing it subconsciously because she is bored. Maybe you give her her way too much and too often.
I know I did this. I started fights for the entertainment of it. Wrong, I know now, and mean. But he simply wasnt any challenge to me.
