ever important?
Islam holds Jesus (Arabic: عيسى `Īsā) to have been a messenger and a prophet of God and the Messiah (The concept of prophecy in Islam is broader than Judaism and Christianity since Muslims distinguish between "messengers" and "prophets". Unlike prophets, messengers are assured of success. All messengers are prophets but not vice versa) [1] According to the Qur'an, he was one of God's (Arabic Allah) most beloved messengers, a precursor to Muhammad, and was sent to guide the Children of Israel.
Most Muslims believe that Jesus is alive in Heaven, and will return to Earth to defeat the Dajjal (Antichrist).

Some Christians know that the Muslims consider Jesus a prophet but than so is Adam considered a prophet.
It seems that the importance the promise of eternal life which Jesus brought has been disregarded.
What most Muslims do not know is that when Jesus was crucified not only did he come out of the grave but all those who had died while Jesus was on earth came out of their graves and walked among the living for three days.
Only Jesus ascended into heaven. His body is not in the ground.
Jesus said "I tell you the truth, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God."

Jesus lived His life to serve others and performed miraculous acts of kindness and healing. No one else could compare to him. He is more than a prophet. Even the Jews realized this and killed Him because of it.
Yes, followers of Islam believe he was a prophet. Unfortunately they deny His divine acts and deity as clearly outlined in both the Jewish and Christian scriptures.

I examine all of it. you've neglected a significant element on your writing. Jesus DID declare His diety. that's why He were given crucified. The Jewish conception (and it really is sensible) is that if someone is specifically a prophet, they ought to under no circumstances be in blunders. in the different case they're handing over a pretend message from devil, and should be positioned to demise. They were waiting for a Messiah who should be militarily or politically stong, and loose them from their enemies (actual, human enemies). Jesus got here as a meek Messiah, to personally loose human beings from sin - hence bringing them (personally) again right into a courting with God. A courting which were severed through Adam and Eve. once a prophet claims to be God, purely one in all 3 opportunities exist, and purely 2 conceivable responses are proper. he's (a million) God, as He claims. (2) A loopy guy. or (3) A liar. If he's God, then settle for Him as God. If he's a loopy guy, then reject Him as God, yet also reject Him as a prophet. If he's a liar, positioned Him to demise. Christians believe Him, and settle for Him as God interior the flesh - you look to comprehend the idea of the trinity, so I received't flow into it. Jews rejected Him as someone risky to the human beings - and responded accord to their regulation. What i do not get is the Muslims' reaction. You declare to settle for Him as a mind-blowing prophet, yet p.c.. and chosen from what He taught. it really is amazingly risky, and ends up in a pretend faith that does no longer carry about God. finally, the Counselor that Jesus sends to His followers is the Holy Spirit - the different area of the trinity, which makes up God. ought to God bless your looking with the actuality.

I agree that Jesus is an important figure in the religion of Islam, but they fail to accept how important he really is. He is THE VERY SON OF THE LIVING GOD, and is recognized by God as His agent to salvation as Christianity believes and proclaims.

Jesus claimed to be the actual SON OF GOD, and not just a prophet or messenger.
This is the issue that one must resolve in their heart: Who is Jesus Christ?
The Muslim view and the Jewish view of Jesus Christ is not the same as that of a Christian, no matter how much they want to draw us into their belief system by claiming a shared belief in Jesus.
Jesus is either the Son of God who rose from the dead, or he isn't. If he isn't, he is either a lunatic or liar.
If he is who he said he is, and rose from the dead, then the Muslim and Jewish belief is wrong.
So one must ask themself: Who is this Jesus Christ?

I don't care what Islam says or believe, as long as they followed a liar and believed in him so everything comes from Islam it is meaningless to me and to any Christians. Also any Christian who accepted Islam as real religion it means they are denying Jesus Christ's teaching and they are not Christians at all.
