There is no sure-fire way to prevent it. There are many possible factors involved with cancer: Family history, the environment, whether you've smoked. If you take care of yourself, eat a balanced diet (Including a lot of fiber, which has been shown to be helpful), and see a doctor for regular check-ups, the odds will be in your favor. And even if you do get cancer, you'll catch it while it's still relatively easy to cure.

I hope this helps!

Causes of this cancers are many.

It can be avoided, by regular self exams and regular X' Rays. Healthy living diet and exercises that keep the immune system in high gear.

The surgery is the only cure, and safest and easiest and the surest cure, if done on time before it spreads, this is why the regular X' Rays are required/recommended.

You should pick up information at any Doctor's office on breast cancer. They should have the booklet on the subject in your language of choice.

Along the same line as Suzzan Somers book "Ageless" is the book "What your doctor may not tell you about breast cancer". I have read pioneer women's accounts of breast cancer treatment and they were not exposed to the pollutants that we have today, but they did have hormones. I think that is the link.
