much the same as the summer except much much colder.. about -6c its a nice time to do your Christmas shopping though as the old town square is covered with a Christmas Market.

I'm going next week.. wooohooo

eating on a budget? try and avoid the main tourist areas and head out of town a little.. it Will be at least a quarter of the price.. if you can find a restaurant called Olympia you wont be disappointed.

It's amazing. Pretty cold so wrap up warm. But it's got a great feeling to it just before Christmas. Lots of market stalls. Hot wine and hot chestnuts. Life size nativity scene. I've been in summer and winter and I would say winter was best (despite being a summer type of person)

Can't think of anywhere in particular that would be good to eat. I would recommend warming up in one of the great tea rooms somewhere.

Prague is awesome. Anywhere on the square serves food, but if you want something extra special try the restraunts at The Hilton. It will be really cold, but - Prague is so cheap, so beautiful and if you wrap up warm you really won't notice - too busy enjoying yourself.
