you want something with a large amount of a fiber called (denier) not sure on the spelling.. the more denier, the better.. Denier helps keep the luggage from ripping when those airport guys throw your luggage around lol

also, JC Penny usually has some awesome deals!!! If you google or yahoo "cheap luggage" a bunch of websites will appear. They usually all have really good deals on brand name luggage and will more than likey offer free shipping!
Good lcuk

I bought a very good suitcase once, and only once. It was destroyed utterly by the baggage handlers and the airline refused to pay a cent towards replacing it. For this reason I strongly recommend a cheaper suitcase as you'll not miss it as much when the enraged orangutans that they have tossing the bags about destroy it! Go to Tuesday Morning and you'll find plenty of cheap, fairly good suitcases.

Luggage generally you get what you paid for. Plus pricier luggage probably has a better warranty against damage. I think a bigger department store during a good sale is your best bet. (think Younkers, Boston Store, Carsons, Elder Beerman, JC Penney) Before buying feel the canvas, test handles, look at the wheels, see if it can really hold up like you want.

I have purchased a number of suitcases, briefcases, kids backpacks at eBags.com

Fast delivery - usually free
Best prices I could find
Read the customer reviews - they tell a lot about the quality of whatever you're buying

Good luck

If you want good quality then got to a baggage specialist, of course if you don't want to spend too much you would be better off avoiding brand names like samsonite etc. Also, try second hand shops as they often have older leather suitcases that are much sturdier than the more modern canvas ones :)

Just go to your local department store. JC Penneys, Sears, Dillards, etc. all have them. They're great quality and aren't too expensive.
