I have been in that exact scenario and for me it's just not possible to get that "in love" feeling back. For the people that do try it's never the same. Love isn't something u should try to get back, love is a natural emotion that grows naturally without effort. I think you should just accept the person loves u (which is the love of a friend or another human being) and move on to someone who will fall head over heels in love with u........the true deep love that people feel, not a forced love........in the end it is far more fulfilling. Well, unfortunately that is usually a deal breaker. It means that the woman still cares about you and doesn't want anything bad to happen to you but she doesn't want to be in a relationship with you either. It's always possible that she could fall back into love with you but you'd have to work really hard for that to happen. I say move on and find someone who is in love with you and make a happy life with her.

If I"m not totally in love with a man then no, I wouldn't get back into a relationship with him. That'd be unfair to not only him, but to myself also.

Most of the time, I'm sad to say it's a no...once you've lost that "in-love" feeling, there's not much you can do to get it back. Sometimes people just grow apart.

No, i can't becuz i know deep down if i'm not still in love then i'm not gonna be happy with them. I've been in that situation and tried to go back but i just wasn't happy. i wanna be IN love not just i care for you type love.

You can love a friend, a neighbour, a parent, ect. But you can only be IN love with someone that holds your heart. I'd say its over, but you still have a place in her heart, possibly friendship.
