Young people are easily persuaded. I did an essay in English 102 in college about television violence and the effects it has on children. Children are so susceptible to the content of TV. I read a case of 5 4th graders who kidnapped one of their peers, and raped her with a beer bottle, because they saw it on TBS the weekend prior. I read cases about children as young as 9 loading guns and killing people with them because they learned how to load a gun from TV. Its very hard for YOUNG children to understand the finality of death. Many small children see characters in one show die off, only to reappear in another show making the impression of death seem not permanent. I hope this helps.
