Everyone is different, and this goes for animals too. Some animals are changed a little bit when they get fixed, others remain the same. Your kitten will still play, they love to play and playing is their natural instinct. They play not only to keep themselves entertained, but to develop hunting skills. Your cat can still spray even if it's fixed, but he probably wont unless his territory is threatened. My male cat never sprayed until we got 2 more cats,(this was a few years later) then he felt like his space was invaded and started to. Most cats don't know the difference. If he's a fiesty little kitty he might calm down a little bit though. Its like a male dog, if you have non nutered dog they tend to pee on everything to mark it. If your dog is fixed, they tend to only pee when they need to and do it once in one spot.
If your worried about him being too fiesty just keep some stuff around for you kitty to play with so he can stay busy, ball up some alumin foil, they like that :) keep him busy so he doesn't ruin your place.

He will probably calm down a bit. The spraying will most likely (99% likely) stop. However, he is a kitten and will still want to run and play! He won't be as aggressive towards your older cat, but he will still probably bug the heck out of her. The one thing that really calms down (most) cats is age. Neutering will help a lot, but he won't stop being a playful kitten until he is no longer a kitten.

Well he should be pretty much the same after a few days or less. Depends if he is hurting or not. He shouldn't spray but he could (that's what we were told) he might calm down some, ours pretty much was the same. He is older now then he was so he has changed some since. Yes he will still play and everything, he may not want to be bother right away but he will still be pretty much the same after he heals up.

My male kitty did calm down quite a bit after being neutered. He is still playful, but is now more likely to take more naps and he likes to be pet much more than he did before. I also have an older female cat, and they get along much better now. Since he has calmed down so much, he leaves her alone more than he used to...

I just got my male neutered and de-clawed and he acts like nothing happened. I have been told it slows them down a bit, but that to me is a myth, my cat is still just as crazy. From experience, I have learned the only thing that slows them down is age, give the cat a year and I bet you will have a more relaxed, enjoyable companion. Good luck.

Yes he will, have him fixed as soon as you can. He will become a lovable pet you have been looking for. It is not cruel and he will not be hurt in any way. It's worth the cost of a vet.
