I want to take my husband on a date. But i don't really know where. When we go out it's always to my favorite restaurants. But i really want him to have fun. Is there anything football related? Or just extremely romantic? He just deserves some pampering. Any ideas would really be appreciated. Thank you!

I am assuming that you are looking for a place to eat since your question is in the Dining Out section.

Football: I would take him to Seau's Restaurant in the Mission Valley Mall. Its the best sports bar in San Diego, period. Food is alright (typical sports bar food). Expect long lines during football game days or nights. Be sure to get there early to get a table. They have a minimum bill per person if you are watching during a game.

Romantic Dining: I love George's in La Jolla. They have a beautiful outdoor patio dining for less formal dining and they a formal dining room (jackets requested).

I would Recommend JRDN in a new hotel in Pacific Beach The view is fantastic and the food is Divine. also Georges at the cove on the patio at sunset. or for casual but nice and complete with sports bar atmosphere you could go to Rock Bottom in La Jolla or downtown. have fun!

How about a sports bar on a night when his favorite team is playing. Buy a couple of beers and sit and enjoy the game.

For a romantic night, try getting a sitter (if you have kids), decorate your bedroom with flowers and candles, put on some soft music, buy a bottle or two of his favorite wine, buy some scented oils and give him a full body message. The rest is "UP" to you! Have fun! :)

if he likes a sport, check and see what teams are in your area,,,,, or maybe a concert, as to dinner, you could prepare his favorite foods at home, prepare a picnic or tailgate supper, or take him to his favorite resturant, before the game or event,,,

I know what you mean. You have to remember though.. guys are easier to please. Something simple but you know it's something he would like, that is enough.
