It's cheaper, if you don't have either then my answer would be to get a cheap digibox and see if you like the extra channels, if you don't watch a lot of TV then it's good because it is basically free but if you want extra channels, want to see the new series of Lost etc on Sky then get Sky with two packages to start and see if this is enough.

Freeview is obviously cheaper,but you will not get the full choice of channels that you get with Sky.
