Well is this a real relationship or just a friend with benefits? If it is just a friend then yea go for it, I mean you are prolly in that sitch cause you both wanna be and have nothing better.
If it is a relationship then maybe you should consider the fact that maybe you don wanna be in it anyway. It is my experience is that when you are in a relationship you wanna be in the sex don matter as it always seems good, well almost always.
If this is the first go around either way then definitely give it a few tries as I have been in a few that just could not relax until a few times in.
Just my opinion though.

Generally speaking, good sex only happens when you and the partner have had time to adjust to what each other likes and dislikes. So if you have "good sex" the first time, there is a great chance it will turn into amazing sex later. If the sex was bad the first time, then there is a good chance it will get better. But not always.

only when both partners are truly committed to each other and share a bond of intimacy that can not be broken and their love goes unmatched by anything else in the world, can they share a night of true romance and passion in the bedroom. the two will end time for this period of time and become one in their own time and universe. however if you're just boning each other for the hell of it practice makes perfect because it allows for time to see what the other person likes so they or can do it properly. and it can give the person new techniques they can try on someone else if this relationship didn't work out

if you care for the person then yeah try it again!! but if you give it another try and its still bad then you might have a problem on your hands. i had this happen to me before with an ex bf. it wasn't that the sex was bad it was just a problem with him staying erect and if this is the situation with you then it's going to take a lot of patience and understanding from you to deal with it but if you can't be understanding about that kind of problem the don't stay in the relationship move on it's better for you not to torture yourself or him about it because it can be very frustrating.

I like the first answer you got. I once heard that sex is like pizza, even when it's bad it still is pretty good. Then again (not to bragg) I have never had bad... pizza :D
You owe it to yourself to give things a chance, after a reasonable amount of time, if it's not what you want move on. Good luck

Yes. It could have been performance anxiety. Besides, it may take more then once to have the mechanics and the emotions on the same page. Unless your just looking for raw sex of course.

Depends on how bad it was. Many first timers aren't that great due to stress of sleeping with that person fir the first time.
Try round 2.

telling someone "what you like" in the bedroom can be pretty awkward. But im kinda with these other people, sex is sex. I don't know what to tell you on how to make it better... lol.
